Thompson Smith

Attorney
Thompson Smith, also known as Thom, is one of the attorneys at our firm. He is a lifelong resident of DeKalb County. He is married to Jama, and they have three children.

He graduated from DeKalb High School in 1987. Attorney Smith received an A.S. degree in Aeronautical Technology from Vincennes University in 1989, which he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He continued his education at Ball State University with a B.S. degree in Entrepreneurship. He graduated from Ball State University in 1992, graduating Summa Cum Laude with 4.0 GPA. Attorney Smith was then an Honors graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law in 1997, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.


Thompson Smith is also a commercial pilot with instrument rating. He enjoys accepting challenges of solving problems and minimizing conflict to meet client objectives.
